OPEN ACCESS THROUGH THE RESEARCH REPOSITORY
Important note: If a publisher is not listed on Read and Publish Deals page or APC Discount Deals page you can still make your research article open access without paying an article processing charge to a publisher.
You are required, as per KAUST’s open access policy, to submit the "author accepted manuscript" version of your article to KAUST’s research repository and University Library will make it available to the world according to the publisher's policies with a link to the original article and DOI. You can also deposit associated datasets to the research repository with a DOI registration. The Library has improved the Repository services with integrations to several systems, tools, search engines and now this has the highest download rate with a global user base.
We are a signatory of the OA2020 initiative and closely monitor the recent trends and discussions about changes in scholarly communication and research publishing ecosystems.
