Thieme publishing offers KAUST authors a 50% discount on article processing charges (2023/25). During the submission process, authors should use the KAUST email and will be notified about the discount. KAUST authors who publish with Thieme must ensure that a 50% discount is applied to their invoices.
Trans Tech Publications Ltd.(Scientific.Net) offers KAUST authors a 50% discount on article processing charges (2023/25). Interested authors must complete the TTP OA Order Form and email it to subscriptions@scientific.net. KAUST authors who publish with Scientific.Net must ensure that a 50% discount is applied to their invoices.
Frontiers provide a 10% discount to corresponding authors affiliated with KAUST on APCs paid by them while publishing in any of Frontiers’ open access journals. KAUST authors who publish with Frontiers need to ensure that a 10% discount is applied to their invoices.
Authors are asked that during the article submission process, the corresponding author’s KAUST institutional email address is used; this way, the discount will be automatically applied. If another corresponding author email domain is used, but KAUST is indicated as the affiliation, Frontiers will verify eligibility for the discount with the KAUST Library.
MDPI (Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute) offers a 10% discount on APC paid for any research or review article where at least one KAUST author is an affiliated author. KAUST authors who publish with MDPI need to ensure that a 10% discount is applied to their invoices during 2024. Affiliated authors also receive a 10% discount on charges associated with open access book publishing with MDPI (i.e., book processing charges: BPCs).
NOTE: Only one discount is permitted per paper, which cannot be combined with other available discounts (e.g., discount vouchers or society membership discounts).
