The Materials Science and Engineering program at KAUST is designed to equip students with fundamental and applied knowledge of materials, and supports the University’s research centers. The program seeks to address key challenges such as: sustainability, alternative energy, water generation, reduction of carbon dioxide emissions and capturing methods, nanotechnology, nanoelectronics, biomaterials, materials characterization, and low-power computing.
