How to get your textbook in Spring 2022

We strongly encourage you to purchase e-textbook access or order print textbook copies directly from the publisher or from an online store such as Amazon. Direct ordering links are provided in the left column.

If you are at KAUST, you can also order print copies of some textbooks from the University Library via KAUST Portal (portal.kaust.edu.sa) during 23rd January 2022 at 10 AM - 3rd February2022.

When you order, you will receive an order acknowledgment e-mail with a date for you to collect your order from the University Library. The cost of your textbook orders will be deducted from your graduate student stipend. 

Conditions:

  • You can only request textbooks available with us. All other textbooks can be purchased by you directly from the provider as e-textbook or print copy.
  • Requests must be entered via the KAUST Portal. No walk-in orders.
  • Textbook returns will be accepted only until February 3rd. Returned books must be in re-salable condition.
  • Books purchased after the textbook sale period cannot be returned.
  • Examination copies of textbooks are available in the Course Reserves area of the Library.
  • The sale period is 23rd January 2022 - 3rd February2022. Order online at least one day in advance of pickup.
  • Textbook Pickup LOCATION:  University Library,  Staff offices (Level 3)

SALE PERIOD:  Jan23– Feb3: Sun-Thurs [12.00 – 2.00 PM]
