What is Document Delivery?
The University Library Document Delivery Services provides document retrieval and delivery service enabling you to obtain chapters of books and papers that are not available in the library’s collection.
Who can use Document Delivery Services?
All KAUST faculty, researchers, post-docs, students and staff are eligible to use this service.
How do I place an order?
You can email your request, including a full citation, to ILLDD@kaust.edu.sa.
Who pays the fees of my delivery?
KAUST pays the copyright and delivery fees for you.
How can I know if my request has been ordered?
The library staff will send you an email when your request has been received. We will provide you with an order number for future reference.
How long does it take to get an item?
In most cases it takes less than two days.
How can I check the status of my request?
To check the status, send us your order number and we will give you an update.
How will I receive the material that I have requested?
Normally your material will be supplied in electronic form and delivered to you via email.
