Collections and Subscriptions

  • E-books: an ever-growing collection of ebook titles from major scientific and commercial publishers in science and technology. Currently, we have over 690,000 titles.
  • Journals: over 128,000 scientific journals from major scientific and commercial publishers in science and technology.
  • Databases: over 230 scientific databases contain articles, citations, standards, protocols, reports, theses, videos, and images.
  • The print collection consists of approximately 9000 titles.
  • Magazines & Newspapers:
    • 30 print titles in English and Arabic from Saudi Arabia, UAE, UK, and USA
    • Libby offers online magazines - 85 titles from around the globe
    • PressReader offers 1700+ newspapers from 92 countries in 48 languages
    • We also offer NYT, The Chronicle of Higher Education, The Financial Times, and others for individual use
  • Special collections: Red Sea coral collection

  • Nearly 14,000 square meters of space on three levels.
  • Comfortable, attractive seating for 200 people.
  • 64 computer workstations throughout the building.
  • 13 group study rooms that offer large flat-screen display panels.
  • 33-seat computer learning lab equipped with advanced software for various science and engineering subjects.
  • Printing and Stationary Shop where users can print, copy or scan documents.

  • Personal research consultation with a KAUST Science Subject Librarian.
